3.5 Outer Diameter Spring Perches When installing lifted rear leaf springs, it's best to rotate the pinion so it points directly at the rear transfer case output flange and use a CV style drive shaft. The best way to rotate the pinion is to cut off the old perches and weld in a new set at the proper angle. These Spring Perches are made for 3.5 Outer Diameter axle tubes including Trail-Gear's Fabricated 8.0 Inch, 8.0 Inch E-locker, and 8.4 Inch axle housings. Normally the spring pin is installed in the center hole but you can also move the rear axle forward or backward 1.0 Inch by using the optional holes. 0.25 Inch thick ASTM A36 steel. Unpainted finish. Three holes on top to move the prear axle forward or backwards one Inch. For vehicles with a 3.5-Inch Outer Diameter axle tube and 0.5 Inch leaf spring pin. Specs:
