A Drop-In Geared-Reverse Transmission for the Polaris General
Nothing is more important than your General’s transmission. But your UTV’s stock transmission doesn’t have the durability and strength to last ride after ride. Whether it's the reverse chain snapping or the case cracking, you just can’t count on it in every situation. That’s why we made a RZR Turbo-style reverse transmission tailored for your Polaris General. It’s a massive upgrade with a geared reverse, upgraded pinion and snorkel gears, a reinforced retainer ring, and a sturdier case. Plus, you can get it installed without modifying anything.
Geared Reverse Is 3x Stronger than Stock
Your stock reverse chain sucks. We’ve broken tons of them going backward on easy terrain. That’s why we’ve replaced it with a beefy reverse gear. It’s 3 times stronger than stock and gives you the freedom to use reverse without worrying about blowing up your tranny.
A Pinion and Snorkel Gear That’s 2.5x Stronger than Stock
We made the pinion and snorkel gear set stronger too. They’re as big as a RZR Turbo’s gear set, meaning they’re the toughest you can get. They come complete with a 300M output shaft, so you can put your foot down with confidence.
Upgraded 6 mm Pinion Bearing Retainer
A tough pinion and snorkel gear don’t do any good without a retainer to hold them in place. That’s why we added 6 mm-thick retainer with a six-bolt pattern. It’s big enough to ensure that your gears always mesh perfectly to reduce failures.
A Bigger, Better Case
Everything is made even stronger thanks to our upgraded case. We put more material around the snorkel to beef up that OEM weak spot. We also added fins and gussets to increase strength even more and to help cool the case so it stays strong. It’s strength stacked on strength.
No Turf Mode!
Our geared reverse does not include turf mode. That’s a good thing. Even when turned off, your stock turf mode is a significant weak spot that can lead to failure. That’s why ours is designed without it.
Choose Your Own Gear Reduction
Do you need more torque? We have a number of torque-boosting gear reductions for you to choose from: stock, a 12.5% reduction, 25% reduction, and 37.5% reduction. A gear reduction gives you the power to turn bigger tires and is great when paired with portals and lifts.
