DESCRIPTION

As EVP continues to push the power level for Polaris Pro R and Can-Am X3, customers may not be able to add enough weight with the supplied tuning components to get the RPMs and shift pattern under control. In response to this EVP engineered stainless steel arms which are approximately 50 grams heavier per arm. Since much of this mass is below the roller near the pivot point, the effective additional weight is approximately 25 grams. Even so, the additional weight allows for much greater forces to be transferred to the belt which helps keeps RPM under control with big power packages. Because they are machined from 304 stainless steel, they are far stronger than the aluminum arms they replace. These and our other Tapp tuning components are born out of our drag race program and proven. This product is for high horsepower (minimum 500HP+) applications that require custom clutch tuning.

  • Kit Includes 4 Stainless Steel Arms (2 pairs for even distribution)
  • Each Stainless Steel Arm weighs 84.3 grams vs the Stock Aluminum Arms which are 35.7 grams
  • The Bolt hole location on face of arm is optimized to allow the use of a Tapp race weight without contacting larger rollers
  • Arm pivot point moved to be more suitable for high HP, higher engagement applications, without the use of custom ramps
  • Recommended for Roller Style Spider TAPP Primary Clutches only & for high-horsepower (500+) applications that require custom clutching
